This platform allows us to design bespoke training programmes on cyber security topics as well as conduct simulated phishing campaigns.
Like every organisation, Trinity is a target for cyber criminals trying to catch our community off guard. While we are continuously updating our IT systems and our incoming email is monitored for suspicious activity to prevent known malicious emails from reaching your Trinity inboxes, some fraudulent emails do get delivered. An important part of our defence against online criminals is everybody being alert to these types of emails, sometimes referred to as “the human firewall”.
Delivering bespoke IT Security awareness training
The new KnowBe4 platform is part of our overall IT security awareness training program, designed to prepare the Trinity community against possible scams and to ensure every individual in Trinity remains vigilant.
KnowBe4 is designed to complement the Cyber Crime Watch Hub, our online hub that provides tips and short videos to highlight the risk and impact of cyber-attacks. It contains a selection of interactive training modules on current cyber security topics that you can complete at your own pace.
To browse through the available training, visit https://eu.knowbe4.com/ui/login and log in with your Trinity email (in the form username@tcd.ie) and password.
