Building description
The building was built originally circa 1700s. The building comprises 4 storeys above ground. Many conversions have been carried out on the building and it now houses a number of offices. There are a number of interconnecting corridors and stairways that link these converted offices above the House 1, this detail covers the ground floor only of House 1 as there is no access to upper floors via the House 1 entrance lobby or a staircase.
There are general offices at ground floor level, with access to the Office of the Provost and Bursar's Office from the main lobby. The main lobby also gives access to a corridor towards the Provost's House which includes other College Administrative Offices, all to the South of the main building.
Part of the Office of the Provost encroaches into House 2 College at the ground floor. The main entrance door has steps and no ramp that precludes wheelchair access.
