Building description
The buildings were built in the 1800s. They comprise of 2 upper levels with mezzanine/ half landing floor and ground floor levels. The Buildings Office is located at the rear of the main buildings; it has the main general workshops on the ground floor with the dining facility, toilet facilities for male and female, and fire escape doors. The mezzanine level has the board room, cell office and a toilet facility. The reception area is located on the first floor, so is the building officer's office and the services engineer's office.
The Clinical Speech and Language Studies department is located in the main buildings. It has an accessible entrance through 187 Pearse Street. The reception area is located on first floor 185, so is also the staff coffee room. Lecture and tutorial rooms are located on ground floor level, first and second floor levels.
