Hi! My name is Ross Coleman. I'm the Graduate Intern with both Disability Services and the Trinity Inclusive Curriculum Project. Here are some of the projects that I am working on:

  • The Leaders' Project: I'm interviewing people that were involved with the history of the Disability Service and Disability in Trinity. I will be coordinating an exhibition to coincide with the launch of Printing House Square in April 2023.
  • Inclusive Scholarship: Together with my collegue from the Foundation Scholarship committee, I am working on trying to make Foundation Scholarship more inclusive. We are interviewing scholars from diverse backgrounds, running information sessions to encourage more students to take Schols and bringing this issue to boards across College
  • Acessible Technology: In the Trinity Inclusive Curriculum Project, my main role is to promote accessible technology across campus, chiefly Blackboard Ally. I talk to students about Ally, I train staff in how to use the tool and I make Accessibility Tips for Twitter!

Please continue reading this SWAY to find out more about me and how I can become a valuable member of this team.

My working preferences

Preferred working environment

Provide information on your preferred working space. See example paragraph below:

'I like to work in an open office setting. While I do appreciate working alone, I do need to be physically around other members of the team in order to feel connected.

Preferred working style

'I love structure and routine. This allows me to remain focused on goals which I review on a weekly basis. If you are working with me on a task/project I would really appreciate clear guidance and supportive information which can help me to identify clear goals.'

Preferred contact method/goal setting tools | Example: Microsoft To-Do

Provide information on what kind of communication you prefer with team members and clients. See example below:

I am a big fan of massive to-do lists as they put structure to my thinking process. They also help me focus. In particular, I use the 'My Day' feature to pull out tasks from a Master To Do List and set out my workplan for the day
