Tutor
Upon completing a Learning Educational Needs Summary (LENS) report, the Disability Service will share the report with the Student's Tutor. This report is for information purposes only. Tutors can download individual LENS reports and a list of students with reasonable accommodation. Tutors under GDPR are data processors, not controllers of data.

Please note that the LENS report for UG students only will be viewable by the assigned Tutor.
PG LENS reports are shared upon the student acceptance with the Director of postgraduate teaching and learning and nominated admin staff request PG access with the academic school. The student also has the ability to download and share the LENS report as needed with their PG supervisor/Tutor as requested.
How will I know when a student has a LENS report?
- When a LENS report for that student is available to view the Tutor (once assigned to that student in SITS) will receive an email.
- They will also receive an intray message to their my.tcd.ie intray
How to get a list of LENS reports for students assigned to my chamber
- Log in to my.tcd.ie
- Click on the ‘Disability Service’ option on the main toolbar
- A list of all students assigned to that Tutor is available to view. The list is searchable and sortable by the columns provided
How to view a LENS report for an individual student
- Login to my.tcd.ie
- Click on the ‘Disability Service’ option on the main toolbar. A list of all students assigned to your chamber is available to view.
- Select the student number
- Click ‘View’ and the student’s LENS will be displayed
How to download a list of students assigned to you
- Login to my.tcd.ie
- Click on the ‘Disability Service’ option on the main toolbar. A list of all students assigned to your chamber is available to view.
- Click on the ‘Export data’
- An Excel spreadsheet will be created with a list of students assigned to you
