Student Partnerships

The Trinity Disability Community Engagement Project provides opportunities to engage in student partnerships aimed at developing soft skills through co-creation, co-design, and co-production campaigns, as well as project work and team-building experiences. This initiative involves collaboration with:

  • Trinity Ability co_op
  • Disabled Alumni
  • The Wider Disabled Community
  • Student Bodies
  • The Neurodiversity Society (DuNES)

These activities align with the Trinity Student Partnership Agreement.

The Trinity Ability Co_op, founded in 2020, is a cooperative movement led by disabled students at Trinity College Dublin, dedicated to achieving radical inclusion on campus. The Co_op comprises undergraduate and postgraduate students who identify as disabled, Deaf, or neurodiverse.

Consistent with the Trinity Student Partnership Agreement, these partnership operates as a meaningful partnership with the Trinity disAbility Service, promoting a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.

disAbled Leadership and Identity

disAbled Leadership and Identity aims to cultivate and empower disabled leaders within the Trinity community, ensuring that the diverse voices of this group are heard and represented. This initiative will provide a platform for disabled storytelling and identity formation, allowing individuals to redefine and explore the complexities of their identities through the power of narrative.
