Trinity is an inclusive university with more than 1,800 students with disabilities who have applied for reasonable accommodations with the Disability Service. We offer a confidential and accessible service for all students with disabilities to support your learning needs during your time in Trinity.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Disability Service Team will continue to offer student appointments via Microsoft Teams/Skype, phone or email. Bookings can be made with Disability Officers and Occupational Therapists through their individual contact pages.
College will contact you with information on orientation for new students. More information is available on the Orientation webpage.
Will there be a Disability Service Orientation day?

Applications for reasonable accommodations with the Disability Service can be broken down into 12 easy steps and most of the process takes place online at my.tcd.ie, your student portal, where you can also complete your registration to your chosen course, see your course, and exam timetables. Please follow these guidelines and instructions to complete your application.

Once College has re-opened a Disability Officer will be stationed in the Main Office at the Trinity disAbility Hub, Printing House Square, from 12pm - 2pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
- Learn to touch type using the Typing Club's online lessons.
- Download Microsoft Office 365 and explore Microsoft Teams.
- Invest in a laptop with a good screen resolution, microphone and webcam. Follow the purchasing advice provide by Trinity IT Services.

The Ability Co-op is a group for students with disabilities who work together to achieve greater inclusion in Trinity. The Co-op provides a space where students can meet up online and in College. Students will collaborate on making social media stories, projects, activities and events to raise awareness and enhance the experience of students with disabilities in Trinity.
