Single Honors Senior Freshman year

During your second year you will deepen your knowledge of the history of art and architecture through modules that explore cultural intersections in art, and Irish art history using a thematic approach. You will learn about the display and collecting of art together with the different theoretical approaches to art history. In this year you will also be given the opportunity to select from a range of optional courses, and Trinity electives and/or open modules. Optional History of Art modules include a study trip to a European city; a module that allows students to gain credit for internships and other practice-based experience; and modules in gender and in Japanese art.
