Book launch by the Research Centre in September 2006

The Social Policy and Ageing Research Centre in Trinity has recently finalised its first full-length book. This is entitled ‘No Place Like Home: Study of Domiciliary Care Services for Older People’, and will be published by Liffey Press (www.theliffeypress.com/) in September.

The launch of this book will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday 14 September in the Long Room, above the Book of Kells exhibition in Trinity College
The book provides the first detailed investigation, in the Irish context, of the provision and financing of domiciliary care for older people. It will be of great interest to policy-makers, civil servants, service providers in the public, private and non-profit sectors, the media and the general public.
