The Social Policy and Ageing Research Centre (SPARC), in conjunction with TCD's Equality Office, is hosting a lunchtime seminar on planning for retirement as part of Positive Ageing Week (28th September- 2nd October). The seminar is geared towards staff and former staff of college who are currently considering how best to ensure their years of retirement are fulfilling.

At 2pm, staff from the Sports Centre will give a short presentation on the benefits of exercise throughout the life course and will be available to take anyone interested on a tour of the sports centre.
The seminar will take place in the boardroom of Trinity's Sports Centre. The Sports Centre is the big new building located at the back end of campus near the Pearse Street entrance. It's located at the east end of College, bounded by Pearse St, Westland Row ant the Railway Line. You can access the centre via Westland Row, from Pearse St gate or from the front of College it is located past the Lloyd and Hamilton buildings on the very far-east corner of College.
