STEM@UNIVERSI-TY offers you an exciting opportunity to experience university-level learning while building a standout TY student portfolio.

This exclusive program, delivered by Trinity Walton Club, blends academic challenge with personal growth, preparing you to make informed decisions about your future studies and career path. Choose from two exciting formats for the 2026-2027 academic year:

    1) On-Campus Programmes:

    • Chemistry - This course dives into the big stuff: organic chemistry, biomolecules, polymers, and green chemistry.
    • Engineering - Explore how engineers design, build, and test solutions through electronics, circuits, prototyping, and hands-on design challenges.
    • Physics - Discover the physics that governs the universe through a college-level introduction to mechanics, from motion and forces to energy, momentum, and rotation.
    • Calculus - Learn the mathematics of change through a college-level introduction to calculus, exploring rates of change, modelling, and the ideas that underpin modern science and engineering.
    2) Online Hybrid Programme (3 unique modules included):

    • Physics (Mechanics)– Explore motion through forces, energy, momentum, and angular momentum.
    • Engineering (Design Engineering)– From research and ideation to prototyping and feedback.
    • Computer Science + Statistics (Data Analytics)– Unlock the power of data.

TY ON-CAMPUS (Saturdays)

Comprehensive 20-Week STEM Experience. Choose from two specialised modules: Chemistry or Engineering


  • On-campus sessions every Saturdays – Small group sizes for an enriched learning experience. Attendance strongly encouraged
  • Schedule: Saturdays 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Dates: Courses will run from 10 Oct to 12th Dec (no class 21st Nov for TCD Open Day). Then run from 16th Jan til 10th of April (with 27th of March and 3rd of April off for Easter).
  • Engaging weekly 3-hour sessions – A blend of online readings and lecture videos plus on-campus lectures, and tutorials
  • Comprehensive assessment – Continuous evaluations, term exams, and personalised feedback​
  • Assessment – continuous assessment and term exams
  • Fee: €980 per student (a refundable €200 deposit required at time of application)

TY ONLINE

A dynamic 21-week hybrid course exploring three key STEM disciplines: Physics, Design Engineering, and Computer Science & Statistics.


  • Weekly online meetups – 75-minute live sessions covering core concepts and applications. Preparation ahead of online session is required.
  • Schedule: 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM on Thursdays
  • Dates: Courses will run from late October 2026 - late April 2027 (exact dates to be released soon)
  • Comprehensive learning – Access to lecture content, live online discussions and guided group activities
  • 3 x On-campus experiences – Three optional Saturday afternoon sessions linked to the online learning (strongly encouraged) - 6 Dec, 28 Feb, 25 Apr.
  • Assessments – assignments, group work reflections, poster and presentations
  • Fee: €495 per student (a refundable €50 deposit required at time of application)

TY ON-CAMPUS (Fridays)

  • On-campus sessions every Friday – Small group sizes for an enriched learning experience. Attendance strongly encouraged
  • Schedule: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Physics(Mechanics), 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Calculus
  • Dates: Courses will run from 2nd Oct to 11th Dec (no class on 20th Nov for TCD Open Day). Then run from 29th Jan - 12th Feb, then 5th March to 19th March and then 9th of April to 23rd of April. (19th Feb off for midterm and 26th of March and 2nd April off for Easter).
  • Engaging weekly 3-hour sessions – A blend of online readings and lecture videos plus on-campus lectures, and tutorials
