We have received reports of a phishing email with the subject line "Reminder: Action needed for Tcd".
This email appears to come from "Server Authenticator", but is NOT from a Trinity account.
The email text is as follows:
From: Server Authenticator
Subject: Reminder: Action needed for Tcd
Body:
Microsoft 365
The {username}@tcd.ie access assigned to your expires today {shows todays date}, Please do use the below to continue with this mail box.
Button that says "KEEP MY PASSWORD"
DO NOT respond to this email, or give away your username and password to the link connected to the email.
DO delete or report the email as phishing.
If you have already responded to the email or clicked on the attachment and given away your username and password, immediately:
- Change your password
- Report the incident to the IT Service Desk
