Things to do
Dublin is a great place to visit all year round with lots to see and do within walking distance of the city centre. Without even leaving Trinity College campus you can see the famous Long Room and Book of Kells or explore the latest exhibition in the Science Gallery. We recommend the following websites to help you plan your activities.
The following are some attractions in Dublin that we would recommend.
- National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin
- Guinness Storehouse
- Kilmainham Gaol
- National Gallery
- Archaeology Museum
- St Patricks Cathedral
Finally, Dublin is filled with lots of great pubs, and if you find you have a spare half hour there are many scenic areas to walk in throughout the city. St Stephen’s Green is one of the parks in the heart of the city, as well as Merrion Square, which is worth a visit to see the Oscar Wilde Statue. If you would prefer a walk along the River Liffey you can take a stroll along the Bachelors Walk. Whatever your preference, Dublin has plenty of sights and attractions to keep you busy.
