About Zoology

We make discoveries, educate and engage society in the science of whole organisms with a particular focus on animals.

Zoology is the study of the form and function of animals in the broadest senses of those words. It considers the many roles of animals within the natural world.

We teach into the Zoology, Environmental Sciences and Plant Sciences degrees and into the Masters programs in Biodiversity & Conservation and Environmental Sciences.
