Research Description:
Nicole Wood completed her Bachelors of Biomedical Science at the University of Adelaide after which she worked for 10 years in Australia in the field of Liver immunology before moving to Maynooth University. Thereafter Nicole joined Prof. Aideen Long’s group at TTMI as a member of the COVID-19 BioBanking Resource team. Nicole managed the STAR bioresource COVID biorepository working closely with researchers in the COVID-19 Immunology research hub providing clinical samples. Most recently, Nicole transitioned to a Research Assistant role supporting genomics based research projects.
