Spotlight: Academic Research Fellowships 2019/20
Dr. Donna Lyons, LL.B. (Dub), LL.M. (NYU), Ph.D. (Dub), Attorney-at-Law (NY) was awarded a TRiSS Academic Research Fellowship. She had this to say about her following project:
Access to the law is an essential facet of any well-functioning system of law. As it stands, certain significant sources of International Human Rights Law are not adequately searchable, which renders a comprehensive and rigorous analysis of the documentation impossible. In collaboration with a partner computer scientist, I am in the final stages of developing a database of the aforementioned legal sources. The TRiSS award will facilitate the completion of this database, which will then permit the author to conduct novel analyses of the source materials.
