Klaas Enno Stephan, University of Zurich
Dr Stephan's research translates advances in computational neuroscience into diagnostic tools for clinical practice. He develops mathematical models for inferring mechanisms of mental diseases from brain activity measurements to support precise diagnostics and individualized treatment. He obtained doctoral degrees in Medicine at Düsseldorf University and in Neuroinformatics at Newcastle University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University College London before becoming the professor of translational neuromodelling at University of Zurich and ETH Zurich.
