The Centre for the Book Seminar Series: Chester Beatty Library

A lecture by Dr Moya Carey and Dr Jill Unkel (both Chester Beatty Library) for the Centre for the Book Seminar Series.

This year’s Trinity Centre for the Book Seminar series brings together libraries, publishers, book collectors and activists to talk about their contribution to Ireland’s contemporary book culture. They reflect on the importance of books, reading and the conservation of our print heritage. In this session, we hear from Dr Moya Carey, Curator of Islamic Collections, and Dr Jill Unkel, Curator of Western Collections, about the Chester Beatty Library.
