21st Postgraduate Cypriot Archaeology (PoCA) Meeting
A conference on Cypriot archaeology organised by the Department of Classics in the School of Histories and Humanities.
The meeting will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of November 2024 in Trinity Long Room Hub. It will be held in a hybrid form with both remote and on-site attendance. Participation is free for both on-site and on-line presentations.
Please register here for attendance.
The Postgraduate Cypriot Archaeology (PoCA) meeting aims to bring together Master’s graduates, PhD students and fresh postdoctoral researchers (within six years of the completion of their PhD), from various backgrounds and disciplines of Cypriot archaeology to present their research, meet colleagues who work in the same domain and exchange ideas in a friendly and collegial environment.
This year’s conference returns to Dublin after almost 20 years since its last organisation in 2005 and it is dedicated to the loving memory of Professor Petros Florides, an ambassador of Cyprus in Trinity (and Ireland more broadly).
