The Centre for Excellence in Universal Design hosted a webinar on Tuesday 1st October 2024 with Tom Grey, from TrinityHaus research centre, TCD. It was the second in a series of four webinars on Universal Design in the built environment, held in September and October 2024, in partnership with the RIAI. Key issues covered during the webinar included:
- Awareness of a range of legislation, outside building regulations, that relates to Universal Design and accessibility in the built environment
- Knowledge of key sections of the Disability Act 2005 relevant to architectural practice
