TrinityHaus Principal Investigator, Professor Sarah McCormack, through her work with the EU wide network on implementing the Circular Economy in the Built Environment www.circularB.eu, seeks to identify challenges and barriers by way of an online questionnaire.

CircularB Action aims to develop a common international framework for a circularity rating tool with Key Performance Indicators [KPIs] based on current best practices of CE construction. CircularB is determined to establish a stakeholder platform for interdisciplinary dialogue among key players, including academia, industry, suppliers, governmental bodies and local authorities, construction professionals and the general public.

The questionnaire seeks to gather feedback from Circular Economy Stakeholders and those who have faced a barrier to implementing Circular Economy practices in the built environment and to obtain new insights into the technological, economic, cultural-societal, and regulatory barriers to CE implementation. The survey will take no longer than 20 minutes to complete and can be found at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/JRC-CIRCULARB_Circular_Economy_in_buildings.

Participation in the survey is essential to devising new CE policies that will accelerate our pathway together toward a more circular and sustainable environment.
