Emerging opportunities in design standards for our built environment

Through TrinityHaus, Tom Grey is Chair of a National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) committee looking at "Accessibility in Built Environment". This work includes chairing the national mirror committee in relation to the development of a new European Standard 17210: Accessibility and usability of the built environment – functional requirements; and the update of ISO 21542:2011 - Building construction — Accessibility and usability of the built environment.

In March 2022, TrinityHaus worked with NSAI and a range of other Irish partners to host a Webinar related to these standards. This webinar was called ‘Emerging opportunities in design standards for our built environment’ and a recording of this can be viewed here.
