  • Title
    • Effect of reward and loss on P3 amplitude
  • Summary
    • The purpose of this study was to see how a person's brain processes consequences, such as monetary reward or loss. It was expected that the degree of brain activity would be greatest when individuals receive both monetary gain for correct responses AND monetary loss for incorrect responses. Lesser activity is expected when only monetary gain or loss is used and the least amount of activity when responses have no monetary consequences. The aim of this study was to see which combination of consequences (gain AND loss, only gain, only loss) results in greatest brain activity.
