Online Course on Impact Evaluation 2023

The online course was designed to help participants answer essential questions of policy and programmes at their organisations: How to measure causal impact, and what are the channels of such impact? Our flagship 6-week online course in Impact Evaluation Methods provided participants with a strong grounding in Randomised Control Trials (RCTs), quasi-experimental methods, process evaluations, and quantitative methods for understanding impact.

The course comprehensively covered the different aspects of impact evaluation such as:

Module on Impact Evaluations in Agriculture and Food 2023

After our main 6-week Impact Evaluation course, we offered a follow-on module on Impact Evaluation Methods in Agriculture and Food. The module built on the material in our 6-week Impact Evaluation course, specifically covering the research on demand and supply side challenges/solutions in Agriculture and Food.

The course covers the following topics:

  2. The challenges facing the agricultural sector in developing countries:
    1. Technology adoption and innovation  
    2. Property rights   
    3. Access to markets   
    4. Risks and risk coping   
    5. Food security   
  3. How impact evaluation tools can help us understand how to address these challenges.
