2022 Online Course - Trinity College Dublin

In 2022 TIME offered an exciting 6-week online course in Impact Evaluation Methods and a follow-on 1-week module on Impact Evaluation methods in Global Health. This course was designed to help participants answer the essential questions of policy and programmes at their organisations: How to measure impact, and what are the channels of impact? The development of these courses was supported by Irish Aid.

Online Course on Impact Evaluation 2022

Our flagship 6-week online course in Impact Evaluation Methods provided participants with a strong grounding in Randomised Control Trials (RCTs), quasi-experimental methods, process evaluations, and quantitative methods for understanding impact. Participants had the opportunity to develop their own design for an impact evaluation.The course comprehensively covered the different aspects of impact evaluation such as:

        1. Programme Theory Mapping
        2. Randomised Control Trials
        3. Quasi-experimental Methods
        4. Mix Methods Evaluation
        5. Survey design
        6. Process Evaluation
        7. Hypothesis Testing
        8. and Cost Benefit Analysis

Module on Impact Evaluations in Global Health 2022
