Teaching
TCD offers instruction relating to international development at all education levels within the university. Since 2008, TIDI has led on several innovative additions to teaching within postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
TIDI supports teaching and training in international development at TCD by:
- Facilitating a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Achieving Sustainable Development. The course examines the ways in which development really can be sustainable, its impact on communities, and how it can make a difference to real lives.
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders including academics, policymakers and non-governmental organisations to encourage multidisciplinary learning and knowledge exchange.
- Facilitating educators at TCD to host targeted training courses in international development.
