Exploration of how employment training programmes within universities can be developed, sustained, and promote the employability of individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This collaborative project with Torrens University in Melbourne, Australia and Universidad Andrés Bello, Chile, looks at how employment training programmes within universities be developed, sustained, and promote the employability of individuals living with IDD. It is hoped that identifying and understanding these networks could inform and contribute to the sustainable development efforts of future, similar programmes. TCPID is assisting the research team to conduct interviews with business partner mentors along with contributions to publications and will use the findings for programme improvement within the centre.
