Today FM - Students with Intellectual Disabilities Showcase Science Projects.

Nicole Gernon from Today FM reported from the first ever SciFest@TCPID student exhibition and awards in the Trinity College Science Gallery on Tuesday May 30th. This exhibition is part of a new initiative in association with SciFest and Abbott Ireland to get students interested in science and to help them to develop confidence and skills.

Nicole spoke with some of the student exhibitors about their projects. Some of the project topics included 'Is Chocolate Good for Women?', 'Colour Psychology', 'Kickboxing: The Effects of Fatigue on Performance' and 'Is Guinness Good for You?'.

The students were all presented with awards for 'Excellence in Science' by SciFest and Abbott Ireland.
