The TCPID announce an exciting new partnership with LinkedIn

The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities is very proud to announce a new partnership with LinkedIn.

LinkedIn connects the world’s professionals to make them more productive and successful and transforms the way companies hire, learn, market, and sell. LinkedIn has over 1 billion members, including 2 million in Ireland. Dublin is home to LinkedIn’s EMEA and LATAM HQ with a team of over 2,000 people.

LinkedIn's vision is to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce – and believes that everyone deserves equal access to economic opportunity. To make that a reality, they are empowering their members, customers, and employees to join them in this cause and are building partnerships with community organisations around the world.

On Wednesday May 1st, LinkedIn welcomed our TCPID students for an afternoon workshop on how to Boost Your Profile. Each student was paired with a LinkedIn Career coach to help set up their very own LinkedIn profile on the platform and for those who already had a profile, they had an opportunity to enhance their skills and online presence. The goal for each student to walk away with a LinkedIn profile and to add their recent work experience with their updated skills. The session also included a LinkedIn office tour and a pizza party to conclude.

A huge thank you to Sue Duke, Ronan Hayes, Alannah McMahon-Smyth, Ross Gill, Gustavo Llopis Molla and the incredible team of LinkedIn coaches who made us all feel so welcome and who worked with our students to 'Rock their Profiles!'
