New partnership between Go-Ahead Ireland and the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities



The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Go-Ahead Ireland.



Go-Ahead Ireland provides public transport bus services on behalf of the National Transport Authority (NTA), operating 25 Outer Dublin Metropolitan Area routes, as well as 5 Dublin Commuter routes. With over 600 colleagues, the company operates a fleet of over 200 buses across its service routes and is part of the Go-Ahead international transport group which enables more than a billion journeys each year via bus and rail services. Go-Ahead Ireland puts colleagues and communities at the core of what they do to ensure that transport is inclusive for all who work and use it.

Ciara Gallagher, Head of People in Go Ahead Ireland said about the partnership,“ We are delighted to be partnering with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities in the School of Education in Trinity College. Go-Ahead Ireland are rooted in the community and with our diverse culture and inclusive values we felt that we could offer opportunities to welcome the students from the programme to support in developing their skills and experience for the future.

Marie Devitt, Pathways Coordinator of the TCPID added, “We are very proud of this exciting new partnership with Go-Ahead Ireland. We are really looking forward to working with the team there to create new opportunities within the transport industry for students and graduates of the TCPID.
