Upon visiting the Centre
Paul Ryan, Enable Executive Sponsor, Fidelity Investments said, ‘
Fidelity Ireland is delighted to partner with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID) and to have welcomed a new Fidelity Associate through the programme in 2018. We believe the TCPID offers a unique programme to enable students with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in a higher education programme designed to enhance their capacity to fully participate in society as independent adults.
We strive to support all of our employees and create a workplace environment which reflects the diverse world our customers live in. We’ve learnt so much from both the TCPID staff and students and look forward to enhancing our inclusive workplace culture following the recent launch of our Enable employee resource group designed to support our employees who are differently abled.’
Marie Devitt, TCPID Pathways Coordinator added:
'Fidelity Investments Ireland are providing huge support to the TCPID and we look forward to developing the partnership even further over the coming years. One of our graduates joined the Fidelity team in 2018 as part of the TCPID Graduate Internship programme. The experience of working with such a supportive team has had a hugely positive impact upon her and her family.
We believe that together with Fidelity Investments Ireland and all of our TCPID business partners we can make a real difference and build true inclusion within the workplace and within society.'
