Nicky McGrane, Owner and CEO, CPI: said, "I am thrilled to announce our partnership with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities. Since first learning about the programme and meeting Marie Devitt, I have been taken by the power of the programme and the opportunities that exist, not only for CPI but also for the wider Business Events Sector. I am excited for our team in CPI to learn more about the Centre and to explore the opportunities for inclusion that we can help create. One of our core beliefs is in the power of growth through human experience. We have lived that for 26 years, and we are excited to take a fresh look at what that growth through human experience could look like, alongside TCPID.”

On February 7th, in advance of the offical partnership launch announcement, Marie Devitt, TCPID Business Partnerships Manager was invited to present on behalf of the TCPID at the AIPCO - Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers conference in the Galmont Hotel and Spa, Galway. The presentation was entitled Beyond Inclusion: Building a culture of inclusion and belonging in the business events sector.

Speaking about this conference and about the new partnership, Marie Devitt, said: "We are so excited about this new partnership with Conference Partners International. This is an incredible opportunity for us to develop placement and internship avenues for our students and graduates within the business events sector. It was a huge honour for me to be invited to speak at the recent AIPCO conference in Galway. Thank you to Nicky McGrane and Conor Meany for asking me to be a part of this amazing conference. I was truly inspired by all the incredible speakers on the day. I am looking forward to working closely with Nicky, Conor and the entire CPI team over the coming years to build a very strong partnership. Our goal is to work together with all our partners to always focus on Ability and to help to create a more inclusive society and a sense of belonging for everyone."
