The TCPID are proud to announce a new partnership with Aer Lingus

The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities is delighted to announce a new partnership with Aer Lingus.

Aer Lingus’s mission is to be a bigger, better, future-focused airline, and their people are central to that ambition. Their DEI mission is to be an airline that has created a community where employees feel they belong, where they are supported by their colleagues to do their best work and where they achieve their career potential.

As the flagship carrier of Ireland, Aer Lingus take pride in their extensive team of over 5000 employees who are located in Ireland, the UK, across Europe and in North America. Their teams work in an extensive variety of roles, ranging from working in operations in the air and on the ground, below-the-wing activities on their aircraft, to ensuring their customers have a great experience, and ensuring the finance, people, technology and other supports are in place enabling it all to come together. The diversity of thinking, of knowledge and of backgrounds of all employees is important to achieving their ambitious mission.

Anne Kiely, Chief People Officer, Aer Lingus: said, "I am thrilled to announce our partnership with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities. We are eager to collaborate with and get to know the incredible students of this programme. At Aer Lingus, we prioritise providing a safe and supportive environment for our colleagues to be themselves and thrive in their roles. We believe this partnership will foster confidence among both the students and our Aer Lingus colleagues in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, creating a truly positive experience for all involved. One of our values is Stronger Together, and this collaboration will bring a new opportunity to achieve and celebrate new shared experiences and success.”

Marie Devitt, Pathways Coordinator of the TCPID added, “We are so excited about this new partnership with Aer Lingus. We are really looking forward to the incredible opportunities that this parnership will provide for our students and graduates. Having Aer Lingus as one of our partners will be hugely impactful as we continue to strive for meaningful educational and employment opportunities for young people with intellectual disabilities throughout the country.
