New partnership between AerCap and the TCPID

The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities is thrilled to announce a new partnership with AerCap.

AerCap is the global leader in aviation leasing with one of the most attractive order books in the industry. AerCap serves approximately 300 customers around the world with comprehensive fleet solutions. AerCap is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (AER) and is based in Dublin with offices in Shannon, Miami, Singapore, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Dubai, Seattle, Toulouse and other locations around the world.

To launch this exciting new partnership, AerCap welcomed 1st year students from the TCPID to AerCap House on St. Stephen's Green for a workshop on Tuesday May 14th. Our students learnt all about the exciting aircraft leasing industry with a wonderful presentation by Joseph McGinley. They also learnt all about helicopter leasing from Niamh O'Meara and Sibel Oztuna from Milestone Aviation. The students then explored presentation skills and interview skills with Selene Alford, Eibhlin Carr and Jennifer O'Reilly, before getting some lovely treats in the AerCap restaurant from Alan Mahony. We all had such a fantastic day and enjoyed meeting all the AerCap team.

Theresa Murray, Head of Human Resources said “We are delighted to become a Business Partner of the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities and support the TCPID’s vital work in creating greater career opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. At AerCap, we strive to create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcomed, supported and valued, irrespective of their circumstances. We look forward to supporting TCPID and their students.”

Marie Devitt, Pathways Coordinator of the TCPID added, “We are so proud of this new partnership with AerCap and we are looking forward to many years of working together to create wonderful opportunities for students and graduates of the TCPID. We really enjoyed meeting so many of the AerCap team at the workshop on May 14th. A huge thank you to Selene, Niamh, Sibel, Joseph, Eibhlin, Jennifer and Alan for treating us like real VIPs for the afternoon.
