You are being invited to take part in an anonymous survey which is part of a research study that is being conducted in the School of Nursing and Midwifery in Trinity College Dublin by Ms .Shauna Delaney as part of PhD fulfilment. Before you decide whether or not you wish to take part in this study, please read this information sheet carefully.

Shauna Delaney

Shauna Delaney is a Clinical Nurse Educator in ICU in Tallaght University Hospital. Shauna was elected a Trinity Scholar in 2013 and graduated as a Children’s and General Nurse in 2015 from Trinity College Dublin (TCD). Shauna has spent all of her career as a nurse and nurse manager in both paediatric and adult Intensive Care Unit settings. Shauna graduated with a Masters in Clinical Health Science Education from TCD in 2018 and was awarded a scholarship from the School of Nursing and Midwifery in 2021 to complete her PhD in exploring the support needs and recovery experiences of critical illness survivors in Ireland. Shauna’s research interests are in critical care nursing with a special interest in the recovery needs of patients following an ICU admission.
