Research Fellow, Trinity Centre for Environmental Humanities, School of Histories and Humanities, Trinity College Dublin
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Trinity Centre for Environmental Humanities. My PhD thesis explores the multiple facets of the uses of cultural heritage in post-industrial port cities from a historical perspective. My current research on the climate history of China focuses on analysing how different historical societies react to natural disasters, with interdisciplinary approaches. I am also interested in the broader field of environmental history and applying digital research methods. Before this, I received my MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management (University College Dublin, 2016), and I worked as a newspaper journalist specializing in culture and arts in South China from 2010 to 2015.
