Research Visualisations

Polypharmacy is the regular use of multiple medications at the same time. These visualisations draw from an article which aimed to assess the prevalence of, and factors associated with, polypharmacy in older people with intellectual disabilities using data from the IDS-TILDA study. It found that many of these individuals take multiple medications, especially those living in residential care or with mental health conditions.
