2017 Summit on Ageing with an Intellectual Disability
On the 20th of September 2017, the Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability hosted a one-day Summit, led by national and international experts in ageing and intellectual disability. Leading with findings from the Intellectual Disability Supplement to The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (IDS-TILDA), research translations from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States were shared with almost 200 participants. The 2017 International Summit on Ageing with an Intellectual Disability was aimed at addressing challenges and offering solutions to key health, wellness and social care issues for those ageing with an intellectual disability.
