The School of Social Work & Social Policy is committed to ensuring a high quality, dynamic and relevant curriculum across a range of courses for a broad range of students, from school leavers to advanced professionals. Our track record in innovation is evidenced through our new Micro-credential module offering.
Micro-credentials are short, accredited flexible modules of learning that are designed to future proof professional learners for the new world of work. Trinity College Dublin is committed to next generation teaching and learning and we are delighted that the Higher Education Authority has recognised this commitment through funding the micro-credential pilot programme under the Human Capital Initiative 2020-2024.
Micro-credential learning will focus on the development of professional skills that will ensure learners are equipped to respond to rapid technological, economic and societal change. These micro-credentials are the product of a dynamic partnership with enterprise and public sector employers. They advance learning in areas of emerging skill needs and future proof our professionals for the evolving world of work.
Trinity micro-credentials will be offered through a variety of online, blended and on-site learning that leads to accreditation in the form of ECTS. Delivered by experts in the field of study, ensuring the high standard of education and quality assurance that Trinity is renowned for.
We are delighted that the School of Social Work & Social Policy is one of the first schools in Trinity to offer this exciting and innovative learning opportunity.
