Edurne's research focuses on the social inclusion of people with disabilities in Ireland and internationally, particularly on the areas of education, community living, and research participation. She is interested in the following topics for PhD supervision:
Edurne’s most recent projects have explored the intersection between disability and migration in Ireland; the support provided to people with disabilities moving from residential institutions to the community in Ireland; co-lecturing with people with intellectual disabilities in third level education; and the development of inclusive education in China.
