The School of Social Work and Social Policy offers professional education and training in social work and wider human services; courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in general and specialist aspects of social policy; postgraduate training in applied social research, as well as a range of opportunities for postgraduate research students.
In research and teaching, the School seeks to contribute to building knowledge about how to respond more effectively to the social questions of our day. The range of disciplines and strengths in the School creates rich opportunities for synergies and collaborative 'joined-up' thinking about complex multi-dimensional issues.
