How it works
- Students apply to the Trinity International Foundation Programme
- Accepted students to the Trinity International Foundation Programme are also given a conditional offer to study as an undergraduate at Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, the following academic year
- During the Foundation year students study English language; Mathematics; critical thinking; communication skills; as well as subject-specific courses in their chosen stream
- Students who successfully complete the Trinity International Foundation Programme and achieve the required grades are guaranteed entry into their chosen degree stream the following academic year
- Medicine, Music, Drama and Dentistry students are required to pass an interview and achieve the required grades to progress to their chosen degree
How to apply
As part of your application, you will be required to submit the following documents:
- Transcript of records
- Secondary School Diploma (if available)
- Proof of English proficiency
- Copy of passport
Each course application requires payment of a separate €50 application fee.
Application deadline: 30 July
Application deadline for Medicine and Dental Science: 1 March
If the TCD International Foundation Programme reaches capacity on certain destination degrees before the application deadline, we reserve the right to close applications early.
