Considering Counselling?
Among the many supports available to you in the SCS/SLD/S2S services, is a short-term counselling service. This service provides “3 sessions at a time” where you and your counsellor will engage in therapy and together review your progress every 3 sessions, extending where needed. Short-term counselling in this manner can provide you with support to work on problems that are interfering with your studies.
SCS counsellors are trained to listen attentively and provide therapy in a non-judgmental, confidential space.
Counsellors can also provide information on where to find additional support, both within and outside Trinity. If your needs are not able to be met with a short-term service, we can provide information on longer-term therapy options, including some low-cost options.
If you would like to know more about what the Student Counselling Service offers, check out our range of Online Support, One to One Counselling and Groups & Workshops, or book a Support Needs-Assessment Session (SNAP) to discuss your needs.
If you are a student struggling to cope, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help you.
