Dr. Jessica F. Surdey is a post-doctoral researcher with the SynthSCS Project. Jessica has an Interdisciplinary PhD from The State University of New York at Binghamton with core emphases in psychology, higher education, and health, a master’s degree in Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law. She has taught thousands of students in higher education for eight years, lecturing in health and wellness in the school of nursing and as a Visiting Professor of Higher Education. Her research and publications include leading a large randomized-controlled trial for improving well-being in college students. Jessica has additional private sector professional experience, as a director of marketing, as well as starting and owning two small businesses.
