Welcome to Trinity Kayak & Canoe Club

Join Our Club: Dive into the exciting world of paddling with DU Canoe & Kayak Club (DUCK). Our club offers training sessions three times a week in the Trinity pool and frequently at Grand Canal Dock, catering to all skill levels. You will have the chance to explore various disciplines, such as river kayaking, freestyle, slalom, long distance & sprint kayaking, as well as canoe polo.

Trips and Activities: Throughout the year, we organize several overnight/weekend trips, alongside biweekly river trips. Some examples are our freshers weekend in Bundoran and our surfing weekend in Lahinch with UCD, DCU and TUD. We also participate in multiple competitions (varisties, ICUPs, DCPL, Liffey descent, Galwayfest, Cranafest and southeast freestyle).

Social Events and Activities: DUCK has a strong social scene with many of our members attending purely social activities. We have events of all kinds, from sober activities to nights out, day time chill time and physical activities.

Inclusive Environment: DUCK welcomes members of all abilities and backgrounds. Our inclusive and supportive community ensures that everyone has the opportunity to thrive, learn, and enjoy the sport.

Registration and Fees: A nominal annual membership fee is required to join. This fee supports the club's operations, including training, equipment, and participation in various events. Erasmus exchange students should check at the sports center reception for any additional fees related to facility use.
