Join Our Team: Welcome to the Trinity Judo Club, a dynamic and inclusive club at Trinity College Dublin. Whether you are new to judo or an experienced judoka, our club offers a supportive environment for all skill levels.
Participation and Training: Trinity Judo Club holds regular training sessions designed to develop your judo techniques, improve fitness, and learn self defense. Inclusive Environment: We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club, welcoming members of all abilities and backgrounds. Whether you are looking to compete at a high level or simply want to enjoy judo in a social setting, our club provides a space where everyone can thrive and feel valued.
Competitive Play: Trinity Judo Club participates in various competitions, offering members the chance to test their skills and represent the university. The two main competitions we compete in are the colours against UCD and the Irish Intervarsities where we travel together as a club to somewhere in Ireland to compete. As well as these two big events, the committee sets up many inhouse competitions throughout the year for our own members. Competing against other universities helps sportsmanship to thrive between all the judokas and expand your own expertise in Judo.
Social Events and Activities: Beyond the dojo, we regularly organise social events to build a strong sense of community and celebrate our achievements. These events are great opportunities to connect with fellow judokas, make new friends, and enhance your university experience. Some events we usually hold include beach judo, pub crawls, board game nights, sea swims, trivia nights, 5-aside football and much more!
Registration and Fees: A membership starting fee is required to join. This fee supports the club's operations, including training, equipment, and participation in various events. Erasmus exchange students should check at the Sports Centre reception for any additional fees related to facility use.
