Welcome to Trinity Hurling Club

Join Our Team: Welcome to Trinity Hurling Club, one of the five Gaelic sports clubs at Trinity College Dublin. Whether you’re an experienced hurler or a complete beginner, our club provides a supportive and inclusive environment for all skill levels.

Participation and Training: We offer regular – usually weekly or bi-weekly – sessions designed to develop your skills, improve fitness, and build team spirit. Throughout the college year we train at Trinity’s sports grounds in Santry, with the team sharing bus journeys out and back on training and match days. We also offer taster skills sessions, for newcomers to hurling, to introduce you to one of Ireland’s national sports.

Day Time Where
Monday 8-9pm Santry - GAA
Wednesday 8-9pm Santry - GAA

Inclusive Environment: At Trinity Hurling, we take pride in our inclusive atmosphere, welcoming players of all abilities and backgrounds. Every member has the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and enjoy the sport, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Once you join Trinity Hurling, you become part of a family for life.

Competitive Play: Each year we field teams at senior, intermediate and fresher levels in the Higher Education League and Championship. Our immediate goal for the senior team is to replicate the success of the teams of ‘15 and ‘16 by winning the Ryan Cup, paving the way for our return to the Fitzgibbon Cup, the premier championship for Irish Higher Education.

Social Events and Activities: Beyond training and matches, we regularly organise social events to strengthen our community bonds and celebrate our achievements. These gatherings are perfect opportunities to connect with fellow hurlers, make new friends, and enhance your university experience. Through social events, trainings, and fundraisers members build friendships that last long after college.

Registration and Fees: To join, an annual membership fee is required. This fee supports the club's operations, including training, equipment, and participation in various events. Erasmus exchange students should check at the sports centre reception for any additional fees related to facility use.
