Format
Each league follows a points-based system where a win awards one point, while a loss grants none. If two or more players finish with the same points, the standings will be determined by goal difference.
Both our Rocket League and EAFC 25 leagues are run by Nativz Gaming on the tournament platform Challengermode. Nativz Gaming are responsible for seeding the league, holding standings and deciding on matchups - students simply must then organise their match before 10pm on Sunday each week.

Welcome to the Trinity Run club, where physical activity meets camaraderie!
Whether you are an experienced runner or just starting out, this is the perfect place to meet lifelong friends while working on your fitness.
Our run club is managed and run by both Trinity Sport and DUHAC.
Beginner Sessions
Our beginner sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 - 1:30pm followed by refreshments in the Pavilion Bar. The meeting point is at college park and the route includes laps of college park.
Intermediate / Advanced Sessions
Our intermediate / advanced sessions take place on Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm. The meeting point is between the sports centre and science gallery. The route begins on campus and includes a 5k through the city lead by DUHAC club members.
Staff and students can register each semester for €5, once in the club, you will receive exclusive discounts to our campus runs, social challenges, prizes and much more!

Are you looking to try something new and meet other students? Grab your swimsuit, goggles, and swimming hat, and join us as we’re introducing artistic swimming to TCD in Semester 2.
This program is beginner friendly and will overview basic beginner figures, movements and terms. In artistic swimming, goggles are not allowed for competitions and presentations, but you can use them during training sessions. Every swimmer needs to use a nose clip to avoid getting water in their nose when doing figures. We will talk about propulsion techniques, pool patterns, and more.

We understand that a busy schedule and lack of time can be a leading factor for students taking part in sport or physical activity.
The purpose of the 'get your 30' program is simply to provide a fitness activity that takes 30 minutes only, each week.
The program runs for 6 weeks and classes change each week which ensures you get a chance to experience different activities, such as HIIT cycle, yogalates, pump N burn, glutes zone and core sessions.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu also abbreviated as BJJ, is a self-defense martial art and combat sport based on grappling, ground fighting, and submission holds.
Sessions are delivered in a safe, controlled and fun environment. The primary aim will be to teach you techniques which means there will be minimal contact and no sparring.
Sessions are all 'no gi' which means the traditional uniform is not required. Simply turn up wearing a comfortable t-shirt and shorts or leggings.

Mind, Body, Boost (MBB) combines mindfulness, psychoeducation, and physical activity in a holistic approach to counteract the pressures associated with university life.
The overall aim of MBB is to empower TCD students and provide them with the resources to take care of their own emotional, social, and physical well-being, enabling them to feel good and function well while pursuing higher education.

‘Walktober’ Step Challenge: Tuesday 1st October – Thursday 31st October 2024
Let’s get walking during the month of October to win some great prizes. Create or join a team with your colleagues and compete against others in your organisation and across the country to place on the Leader board. There will be weekly competitions, updated Leader boards, plenty of prizes and fun.

Common Questions
What is social sport?
Social sport in Trinity is simply any sport or physical activity program that is either semi or non competitive. Most sport clubs in the university are tailored to competition while social activities is purely for fun, making new friends and staying active.
Can I join if I'm not sporty or active?
Of course, the main purpose of social activities is to introduce you to sport and physical activity in a fun/relaxed environment. All programs are completely beginner friendly and inclusive.
When does social sport start?
All programs and sessions are free from the 30th September to the 4th October so you can try out a program before you register.
Programs then officially start from the 7th October.
Start dates for semester 2 to be confirmed.
How long do programs run for?
Programs run for either 10, 8, 6, or 4 weeks during the semester. You can view a specific program tab above for more information.
How much is it to join?
Price per semester for all students are as follows:
- 8 week+ program (€20) plus €1 platform charge
- 6 week program (€15) plus €1 platform charge
- 4 week program (€10) plus €1 platform charge
The fee for all programs cover insurance and administration costs for you as a participant. It also helps the cost of covering coaches and equipment for sessions.
Can I join a program after it starts?
As long as there is space available, of course. Please note a discount is available for most programs if you join late.
Do I need equipment for any programs?
No, you do not need to pay for any equipment, we will provide everything needed as part of the program.
What should I wear to sessions?
All you need is some activewear clothing (shorts, leggings, joggers, t-shirts) and comfortable runners/sneakers. Whatever you feel most comfortable in.
