The much-anticipated Colours Rugby fixtures between local rivals Dublin University Football Club (DUFC) and University College Dublin Rugby Football Club (UCD RFC) are set to take place this March at the UCD Bowl and College Park. The annual event is a staple of Irish university rugby since its inception in 1952 and this year marks the 71st edition of the men’s rugby colours match. Last year, Trinity Rugby emerged victorious in the men’s competition at College Park, reclaiming the Colours title from UCD. Meanwhile, Trinity’s women’s team are seeking their first-ever win in the Colours series.
The full schedule of fixtures is as follows:
- U20s Rugby Colours – Saturday, 9th March, 3:00pm, College Park
- Junior Rugby Colours – Tuesday, 12th March, 7:30pm, College Park
- Men’s Rugby Colours – Thursday, 13th March, 7:30pm, UCD Bowl
- Women’s Rugby Colours – Wednesday, 19th March, 7:30pm, UCD Bowl
