The Trinity Novice Men’s Eight triumphed in the Dan Quinn Shield for the fifth consecutive year, showcasing their dominance in the category. The crew took an early lead and extended their advantage to an impressive three lengths by the finish line, demonstrating both skill and determination on the water.

In the Women’s Novice Eights, the Sally Moorhead Trophy provided a dramatic spectacle. UCD led for most of the race, but Trinity’s athletes showed exceptional resilience, mounting a powerful late surge in the final 400 metres to edge ahead and claim victory by half a length. This remarkable comeback highlighted the determination and competitive spirit of Trinity’s novice rowers.

While Trinity shone in the novice races, UCD secured wins in the senior categories.
